The Kenai River is world famous for its LARGE King Salmon. The World Record King is 97 lbs. 4 oz. caught on the Kenai River. The World Record Sockeye Salmon caught on the Kenai River weighed 16 lbs. Supporting the largest recreational fishing in Alaska, the Kenai River brings fisherman to the area from the world over. King salmon, red salmon, silver salmon, Dolly Varden, steelhead and rainbow trout, are some of the other species sought after by anglers. Nearby lakes and streams, some of which are stocked, add to the fishing opportunities available. We also book Slamon or Halibut charters.
